Vintagepista is my blog, i search for vintage bicycles parts all around italy and make them available on the web, i am Jacopo Volpe, italian, track bike rider, i go to alleycats, i use my bicycle everyday, i am 32 years old now.

I live in Milano , 2 km from the once famous Vigorelli velodrome, but my hometown is Vicenza, on the entrance of my town there is a sign 20 meters long it says CAMPAGNOLO.

I also produce new parts!

i am in the process of producing new rims on the base of the gipiemme 716, i am producing new simple track pedals, i will make special edition of cool vintage saddles, i produce frames and i am looking at a way to produce:cranks,hubs,cogs and chainrings.

i have a lot of fun in doing it, i love grease and dirting my hands and track bikes give me joy!

DODICI will be the brand of every hting new i will produce.

dodici means twelve in italian, i am linked to italy becouse italian are the parts i sell , the bicycle bring as to a more natural and simple way of living and twelve is the number of many things in nature, DODICI CICLI means twelve cycles that come back over and over and over again, in circles .
